How This Started
Python has been my primary programming language for years, and this site actually began as a place to write about it — virtual environments, project setup, building games with Pygame. From there it grew into documenting my real transition from Windows to Arch Linux: dual boot, Btrfs, NVIDIA drivers, gaming setup, all the parts that didn’t go smoothly. It’s kept growing since.
Who I Am
By background, I’m a mathematician and data scientist — a bachelor’s in Mathematics and Economics, a master’s in Data Science. Professionally, I work in process automation, building solutions primarily with Alteryx and Python. Technology isn’t just my job, it’s genuinely my hobby too. I’m the kind of person who finds science fascinating in general, and I especially geek out over advancements in astrophysics and quantum mechanics.

Outside of Work
When I’m not automating something or writing code, I’m usually reading, gaming, or falling down a technology rabbit hole. On the gaming side, I’ve mostly settled into Counter-Strike 2 lately, though I grew up on Call of Duty (I’ve largely left that franchise — not a fan of where it’s gone in the last several years). I’m also a sucker for city-builders and management sims like Anno 1800 and Cities: Skylines.
No fluff, no “trust me, it’s easy” — just what I’ve actually learned by doing it.
I go by hnst here. The focus is on the content, not the person behind it.
